… at the end of the day, I strive to create work that makes people happy.
2.564M+
yearly visitors of my exhibitions
Each year more than 2.564 million people* of all ages and different cultures have forced me to keep my UX-flows and UI-designs bulletproof, accessible and easy to get into. And all of that while making even hard to grasp content understandable and an experience to play with and tinker around.

Enriching the everyday world
with digital fairy dust
One of my biggest joys is to blur the lines between the human world and the digital, taking the best of each to create unique experiences. Over the years I was able to create apps for different museums around Europe utilizing different hardware to bring the 2 worlds together, such as tablets for AR, kinects or leap motions to name a few.
Like humans, every digital experience has different needs and requirements. Some are straightforward, some more playful. But each has a certain goal it needs to achieve. It is my job to make sure that each experience can bring that across by creating its unique toolkit to do so: For some that might be an extra layer of UI-elements, a custom-made or adjusted font and for some, illustrations are the way to go. All of that of course while keeping in style of the overall design.
the future is now
I am very grateful to be alive in these times, being able to witness the growth of Gen-AI first hand.
The big problem I have with seeing most of the generated images, is that they often feature similar objects and at times feel very random.
My experiments with Midjourney have the goal to create more consistent, not regular images, which should be achieved with the help of very simple sketches in combination with a variety of different prompts, as I see this can end up in a process which would have actual use cases in the real world.
